Health and Safety General

29 million working days are lost each year due to work-related injury or illness. Health & Safety training is essential so staff understand their duties and responsibilities. This half day course is a quick and cost effective way of training staff in the basic health and safety issues in the workplace. A more detailed one day 'Health & Safety in the Workplace' (Level 2) course is also available.

Courses can be provided in-house at your own workplace or on a public course at our training venues in Shrewsbury and Telford (see program).

 

Who Should Attend?
This Health and Safety course is ideal for all staff who need a basic overview of the main principles of health and safety. It can be utilised as part of a new employee’s induction training or re-familiarisation training.

Assessment
Delegates are deemed successful pending continuous assessment by the tutor.

 

Qualification & Resources
Upon completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate in ‘Health & Safety Awareness’. All delegates are issued with comprehensive training notes.
