What do I Need to Do?

 

To run a public event, you will need to ensure that suitable arrangements are in place to secure the safety of those attending. This of course will include Fire Safety issues.

 

The exact requirements vary from County to County, but generally, Local Authorities will require you to prepare an ‘Event Safety Plan’ which addresses general health & safety issues, together with ‘Fire Risk Assessments’ for each hazard (for example; marquess, catering stands, fireworks, etc).


 

Many Counties have ‘Event Safety Advisory Groups’ (ESAG’s) who may be able to offer advice and guidance.

However, we know just how time-consuming organising an event is and Unicorn Fire & Safety Solutions Ltd can take the pressure off by undertaking the fire safety section of your Event Safety Plan, and the individual Fire Risk Assessments for you.

Rental Firefighting Equipment

We can also supply all types and sizes of fire extinguishers on short term loan and will deliver and collect these at a time to suit you. We want you event to go well so our rental fees are amongst the cheapest in the UK!
